Venison Tenderloin Stir Fry

Korean inspired stir fry using venison tenderloin

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Venison Tenderloin Thinly Sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups Soy Sauce Divided
  • 4 tsp Light Brown Sugar
  • 3 cloves Garlic Crushed
  • 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 tsp Fresh Grated Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Sesame Oil Divided
  • 1 whole Carrot
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets
  • Rice or Quinoa

Method
 

  1. Start by slicing your venison tenderloin thin for the stir fry.
  2. Marinate the tenderloin in 1 cup of soy sauce for 1-12 hours.
  3. Prior to cooking, combing 1/2 cup soy sauce, garlic, red pepper flakes, ginger and corn starch in a bowl.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet.
  5. Add the tenderloin, cooking it until it is just seared. Do NOT overcook the tenderloin.
  6. Remove the tenderloin from the pan, and set it aside.
  7. Heat the remaining sesame oil, and add the vegetables to the hot pan.
  8. Cook the vegetables until they are tender. This will take about 3 minutes
  9. Return the venison to the pan with the vegetables, and cover with the soy sauce/brown sugar mixture.
  10. Allow stir fry to simmer in the sauce on low for around two minutes.
  11. Serve over rice or quinoa.
