Easy Coleslaw Recipe With Apple Cider Vinegar

Tangy, slightly sweet, easy coleslaw made without mayo

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head Cabbage Shredded
  • 1/4 cup Scallions Chopped
  • 4 tbsp Olive Oile
  • 3 tbsp Honey or sugar
  • 4 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Method
 

  1. Start by shredding the cabbage and chipping the scallions into small ¼” pieces.
  2. Transfer the cabbage and scallions to a bowl and toss together.
  3. In a separate bowl combine the olive oil, honey, apple cider vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  4. Whisk together until it is combined.
  5. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and toss everything together until it is coated.
  6. Cover the slaw and allow it to sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes prior to serving. This gives the ingredients time to blend.
